LEARNING OBJECTIVE: The objective of this course is to apply all the knowledge gained in the previous courses to the valuing of facilities and the completion of a professional appraisal report. This course also provides a comprehensive review of the concepts studied in the previous three courses. This course addresses the issues of obsolescence: functional, economic, excess operating costs; valuing facilities using all three approaches to value; lease structures; true/tax leases and leverage leases; synthetic leases; conditional sales agreements; appraisal for leasing; fair rental value calculations; components of appraisal reports; report writing; advanced case studies; a comprehensive review of all prior MTS courses.
